This exceptional butter - our best selling by far - is fantastic on toast, for cooking or even on its own. Longmans make it from the by-products of cheese making. It's a traditional approach; rolled from whey cream butter.
The salt content in the salted roll is from the added whey, a byproduct of the Cheddar making process. This salt is a natural preservative is what extends the life of salted butter way beyond that of unsalted butter.
