A great alternative to couscous, pasta or rice, this ancient grain has been grown without the use of pesticides on Corston Fields Farm near Bath.

Quinoa is considered a superfood with a high protein content. It has a high monounsaturated fat oleic acid content as well as desirable omega-3 fatty acids and alpha-linolenic acids. Whereas some foods lose nutritional content like healthy fatty acids in the process of cooking, quinoa is reported to maintain them even when steamed or boiled.
